Sounds like chiptune/video game song to me, which Newgrounds has a genre of that you can submit under.

i liked the song btw, the beats were cool. I liked the change in the middle, not sure about the end though it seemed a little out of place. The beginning got a little repetitive but i may just be being an asshole about it. It was an enjoyable song though, good stuff.

Qvarcos responds:

Hi, thanks for the review, appreciated!

I reupload it with a better ending, as i don't see that perfect either.

Excellent track, loved the build ups! Great trance leads and beat, altogether a very smooth track.

Pretty good man, keep up the good work.

Hey Tonash, i thought the fact how someone else`s art inspired you to create your own dramatic composition was pretty cool. The effects along with all the music immersed the whole experience. The script was great, and you do possess the kind of voice to carry this kind of material. The whole ``light of the sun, is no more`` opening voice with the background wind was awesome work, though i think the dwarf voice over work was not as strong, and the accents got a bit messy. Overall i thought you did a great job the script and story was concise and the threat of battle was well communicated. Keep refining your voice over skills, good luck with this!

Tonash responds:

I agree that some of Gimble's lines got a little messy; albeit dwarfy accents are usually more rocky/grumbly than usual.

Thanks again.

Haha very cool idea man, i really liked the beginning. Very good use of effects there. It`s a fun track to listen too for novelty purposes i was a huge fan of Perfect Dark on the N64 so it brought me back. Though like the last reviewer said it got a little repetitive and was a little long. It sounds like you has a good time making it though, which is was creating music should all be about. Keep it up!

Daru925 responds:

Thank you! Perfect Dark on N64 is one one my favourite game, and i'm glad to see other fans enjoying the private joke.
You're right, i did this track with a storytelling approach more than making a real song structure.

BOOM! this beat is like a slap in the face with a flaccid noodle. Awesome house tune, keep up the great work.

BoomKitty responds:

Easily the best compliment I've ever received. Thanks!

I thought it was really well done, the plug-ins sounded solid; Especially the drums! Loved the synth background angel choir, and the other progressive metal elements . Sounds like you put a lot of work into this man, i enjoyed it.

Warhector responds:

Hey man, thank you! Yes I've put in a great deal work expanding over 2 years with this. I'm glad you liked it!

Very good, i liked it.

StrazeKu responds:

Thank you :)

Kick awesome song, It has some nice flavor to it. Good piano riff, and meaty drums. The strings add a nice anthem vibe to the piece. It all flows together nicely to make a good recipe. No negative points on my part it all sounded well mixed man, maybe the kick was a bit "Re-verby" but it's probably just me. Good work.

SuperGoodSound responds:

yay :D

Incredible
