Not bad, keep at it man. It's pretty clunky, though being a first it's all good. Stick around here, and keep creating is all the advice i have, you'll learn in the process. There's a lot of talented folks on this site to get tips and learn from too. As you know, it's all about practice!

[Hacking]

Definitely has that futuristic computer tone to it. I can imagine it as the opening sequence to a sitcom show about hacking or the evening news even. Cool song, i like the arpeggiations and "tronish" brass section hits. Good work man!

Very cool!. It's a fun tune. I like the little beat changes and atmosphere. The back-story adds entertainment too, imagining myself in some sort of rapturous world like in Bio-shock or something.
Everything sounds pretty well and well timed, i enjoyed the stay but i'm glad i made it out alive. Good stuff man, keep it up.

Damn man, it's a pretty good cover your guitar work is impressive and vocals are very raw and passionate. I hide behind a computer when i make my music. To put yourself out there and put in that much effort in that performance is brave bro. Although it sounds very raw and rough, there is definitely some art to that. Good cover, to a great song man. Keep it up.

Thank you. I don't care when people "hide behind a computer." That is another form of creating, and it takes a different kind of talent, but it ultimately achieves the same goal. I honestly only call people out for hiding behind a computer when they call me out for not using the latest technology to enhance my own sound. I have to just remind them, I'm not faking my love of lo-fi recordings. Some people, like me, prefer a raw sound to a slick sound. I feel some of the people who hear me do my thing think I'm not "doing it right" when instead, they don't realize, this is the sound I like. It's purposefully supposed to sound like a live version, because it is one.

[Caribbean Dream]

Good song, really well made. Though it's a little on the bright side EQing wise, it seems like you could cut some high end and add some more low end bass. Besides that man, it's got a catchy melody. Nice work!

Thank you! I've been thinking of some melodies in my head and figured out that one of them sounds a lot like this piece I made forever ago (it was published in 2013, but I made it like a year before that). I'm thinking I might revisit it and see if I can put a new spin on it.

The guitar was pretty cool, it kind of felt like a Pink Floyd song for a moment. Enjoyable song, pretty good mixing job too nothing bad to speak of. Really good.

Wow man! Feels like it's straight from the film's itself, how did you make this? Really remarkable song composition. I liked it all, the thunderous drums, whispering strings, all coming together to accompany the Dark Knight himself as he protects his beloved Gotham.

It's made using 3 sample libraries. Spitfire Albion (for Violins), Spitfire Albion Iceni (for Cellos) and Heavyocity Damage (for percussion).

Fun song indeed! I like the change of pace mid way it gives it a breath of fresh air. This would work great for a video game, i really like it man. Tis grand!

[The White Fox]

It's a good song man, but idk maybe the speech sample could be buried a bit in the mix and turned down a bit, gets a little distracting. Maybe add some subtle reverb/delay. Drums could have been brought up a bit, snare sounded a bit flat. Maybe some eq could brighten it up a little, just as a tip. Though all in all not a bad song, i liked it. Keep it up

i agree with everything you said. this was literally my first attempt at using vocals. i've been working on a better version since i uploaded this. i was very aware of the shitty vocals, but i just couldn't figure out what i could do to fix it. but luckily you came along. i think turning it down or even removing a bit of it will help. thanks for your feedback, it's greatly appreciated for sure.
